The Picture Game Geoff and I have a game we like to play.  It involves going outside at night, when it's really dark, so that our digital cameras can't really work properly.  One of us shakes our heads around rapidly, while the other takes a "blind" shot of them.  The results are quite worthy of a look, so here I present you all with a little taste of the action... And here's a couple from people that we have brought into our exclusive circle... Now EVERYONE can join in the fun!!!

I'm BAAAACK! Well, a quick visit here folks, to share with you the joys of my trip to Hanmer Springs a couple weekends back.  Here's a few photos to whet your pallet: First, the view from Conical Hill, the local "strenuous" walk: Second, here's one of all the crazy-ass mushrooms that grew wild everywhere we looked.  No, we didn't eat any of them, because we probably would have died.  Check them out: Finally, the majority of the gang that went up, at the end of the weekend.  Note the rock and roll stance of the jackass in the back: Focker, OUT!

Up North South images. The first image is of the bus ride up north, just outside of Kaikoura.  The second was during the second day of walking, a view of one of the waterways.  Finally, the third image is a dock just down from where we camped the first night.
