More photos!
Check it out, people. I've added another round of photos to my Yahoo.ca photos page, which you can find the link to on the left. It's from the three day road trip that Geoff, Tam, Mel and I took on our way to dropping Geoff off at Picton so he could start his travels around the north island. There's a pretty funny photo of Mel, looking like she's really mad at me for taking her picture. She hates that one.
What is it with girls that hate having their photos taken? It's pretty ridiculous, I think. I mean, I don't think I know ONE girl who likes to have her picture taken. Maybe it's the practically guaranteed double chin, or the unflattering flash, or the instataneousness of it all, I don't know. I say this to you, Girls, LIGHTEN UP!
Anyway, enjoy everyone!

Chatting with the Cheese...
Right now I'm chatting with a friend of mine, who's last name includes the word "cheese". It's actually "chees", without the last e, but it's much funnier to think that it's the full spelling. We're talking on that ol' great invention MSN Messenger, which I have rediscovered after years away. I used to be a member of ICQ, but got away from it since I started travelling. It's a pretty great way to stay in touch, even better than email I think. There's an instant connection there, and you can actually have a pretty good conversation if you have the time and patience.
So I had two days of Tank over the weekend, Sunday for nearly eight hours, and then yesterday for five and a bit. I don't mind working there, especially since they installed the internet.
Speaking of which, I was cruising the cyberspace waves on Sunday morning when I came across a very funny phenomenon. Basically I was starting up a different weblog on a rival site when I clicked on the "View Next Blog" button that they have. What should come up (and remember, I was in the middle of a fairly busy shopping mall) but a weblog dedicated to the sexual activity of a Florida couple. WITH PICTURES!!! Needless to say I closed it rather quickly, since children coming up to buy juices don't need to see that sort of thing. It was a total accident, I promise. I don't have a habit of looking at nudity or other sexual activity while on the internet at work, I swear.
I had a veggie burger and chips for dinner last night, and it was lovely. Thanks for asking...

Pictures say a Thousand Words.
But unfortunately you won't be able to see any of them.
Last night an old workmate of mine (and, incidently, Geoff's) had a 24th birthday to celebrate, so she organised a bus trip for everyone to go on. Basically this means that everyone brings whatever drinks they want onto the bus, everyone gets really trollied, and they drive us around to whatever dirtball bar they want. There were about four other bus trips all going around to the same bars as us, which made for a pretty funny evening, seen as how we could pretty much gauge how much everyone had drunk in the period from when they left the last bar until when they got to the next stop. It was very humourous.
At any rate, it was very nice to see a couple friends let loose and have a very good time, and there were many smiles and laughs shared. By about the third bar I was pretty much over the whole experience, but I still stuck it out until the end, which I was pretty proud of.
We got dropped off back in town, where the funniest part of the evening happened. We had agreed to order pizza when we got back to the house, but one girl decided it was a good idea to go ahead and order just as we were about to hop in a taxi, and ordered three pizzas. Unfortunately she didn't take into account that one of us (me) was a vegetarian, and ordered three meat pizzas. She felt bad when she found out, and to try and console me she asked "well, can I buy you a hotdog instead?" Not the smartest cookie in the box. It was probably just the alcohol though... Still I found it very funny.
Thanks to all who were involved, and I hope everyone had a good time. RIP Steve, Boy Stacey, Alicia, and probably Rose, Gabs, and, well, many others....

Please contact me.
To any of my friends back in London, England, who still read this, I would really love to hear from you and make sure you are safe and alright. I'm terribly sorry that this has happened, and would feel a whole lot better if you got in touch and let me know you are okay.
Thank you.

ATTENTION PLEASE!
Please pay attention to this notice: There are a couple weblogs that I would like to draw your eyes to, they are as follows...
My good friend Myles Legacy has changed his weblog address. It can now be found on a rival weblog site, located here. It seems like an excellent site, and I might look into it at a later date.
My good friend Tam Peace now has a weblog, which can be located here. Tam and I used to work at the same cinema here in Christchurch, and she's a swell person. She actually interviewed me when I applied there, and I think she could see my potential even back then. Haha! Thanks Tam.
Finally, is a good chance that Geoff and I will be leaving at the end of the month to hop on a bus tour for the North Island. A "backpacker oriented" tour company has a 20% off sale for all their tours, whcih is a very good deal, so we may just hop on one of those. There is only one thing that could probably keep me in Christchurch, but unfortunately I can't elaborate on it just yet. I'm sure you understand.
Thanks go to Cousin Steve and Fiance for the invitation to their wedding in September. All the best, Cuz.
